Thala's five star Australian beach resort is fully eco accredited for ecotourism and consists of private deluxe timber bungalows built high on stilts and nestled in the forest canopy.

All accommodation has views either to the beachfront or the rainforest mountains. Time spent relaxing on the timber decked verandahs is well rewarded by sightings of birds, butterflies and at night - possums and sugar gliders.

Included in your stay at Thala Beach Lodge are unique resort experiences that add a memorable touch to your holiday. Nature walks, Bird Walks, a Coconut Odyssey , Star Watching and presentations by local specialists are available to all guests free of charge. Great sensitivity has been applied to the design of the deluxe bungalows, which are individually built high on timber poles, looking out through the canopy of trees. Each with air-conditioning as well as ceiling fans, private verandahs, IDD telephones, dvd/cd players/radio/television, minibar, tea and coffee facilities, full height wardrobe, generous draw space, hair dryers and the bathrooms have separate shower and bath.
